Plasterboard Machinery Manufacturing Process:
1. Gypsum Mixing: Gypsum powder is mixed with water and additives to form a slurry with the desired consistency. This slurry typically includes foaming agents to reduce the density of the board and other additives to control setting time and improve various properties.
2. Forming: The gypsum slurry is poured onto a continuous belt or sheet of paper liner. As it moves along the production line, it spreads evenly and is shaped into a continuous sheet with a consistent thickness.
3. Drying: The formed gypsum board enters a drying oven or kiln, where it is exposed to heat to remove moisture. This process sets the gypsum and paper components, solidifying the board.
4. Cutting and Edge Trimming: After drying, the continuous sheet is cut into individual plasterboard panels of standard sizes. The edges are trimmed to achieve smooth, straight edges.
5. Quality Control: At various points along the production line, quality control inspections are performed to check for defects, thickness variations, and other quality-related issues.
6. Packaging: The finished gypsum boards are stacked, wrapped, and prepared for shipment.
