1. Mining:

The first step in the production of natural gypsum powder is the mining of gypsum deposits. Gypsum is a naturally occurring mineral found in various parts of the world.

2. Crushing:

Once mined, the raw gypsum is transported to a crushing facility where large rocks are reduced in size through crushing. This process prepares the gypsum for further processing.

3. Grinding:

The crushed gypsum is then transported to a grinding plant where it is processed into a fine powder. Grinding is crucial for achieving the desired particle size and distribution.

4. Calcination:

The ground gypsum powder is subjected to a process called calcination. During calcination, the gypsum is heated at high temperatures to remove water molecules and convert it into a dehydrated form known as calcium sulfate hemihydrate (CaSO4·0.5H2O), commonly known as plaster of Paris.

5. Grading and Packaging:

The dried gypsum powder is then graded based on particle size. The final product is packaged into bags for distribution and sale. The packaging process may involve automatic bagging machines.
