On April 11, 2024, the Standard and Quality Department of the China Building Materials Federation, the Institute of Technology and Information of the Building Materials Industry, and the Gypsum Building Materials Branch of the China Building Materials Federation organized a review meeting for the foreign language version of the association standard for "Gypsum Board" in Beijing. 13 people from scientific research institutes, universities, industry associations, testing agencies, and production enterprise representatives attended the meeting.
The foreign language version of the association standard for "Gypsum Board" is issued in accordance with the document "Notice on Issuing the Foreign Language Version Plan of the Association Standard for <Gypsum Board>" issued by China Building Materials Joint Standards [2022] No. 26, T/CBMF 151-2021 "Gypsum Board" English Translation Plan Project, project plan number 2022-W02-xbjh. The plan was proposed and coordinated by the China Building Materials Federation, and the translation unit is the Institute of Technology and Information of the Building Materials Industry.
The experts, enterprise representatives and standard drafting working group attending the meeting all agreed that this standard provides strong standard support for my country's gypsum board products, process technology and equipment to go abroad.
