DCI delivered a 3 million m²/year gypsum board lamination production line in Morocco, supplied on a turnkey basis — equipment, installation, commissioning and operator training. The line produces PVC laminated gypsum ceiling tiles, with PVC film on the face and aluminium foil on the back.
DCI has delivered three production lines in Morocco: a 15 million m²/year gypsum board production line, a 300,000 t/year gypsum powder line — the largest powder line DCI has built — and this 3 million m²/year lamination line. Together the three lines take the project from raw gypsum through to finished ceiling tiles.
A complete gypsum board lamination production line consists of four units. DCI supplied all four for this project.
Double-side laminating machine — gluing, roller pressing and flattening units in one pass. PVC film is applied to the front and aluminium foil to the back without turning the board over.

Dividing and cutting machine — vertical and horizontal saws, roller conveyor, board pusher and dust collector, cutting the laminated panel to finished tile size.
Edge-sealing machine — PLC and HMI controlled, sealing the cut edges of each ceiling tile.
Automatic edge sealing and shrink-wrapping machine — PE shrink film packing with automatic waste film rewinding.

This gypsum ceiling tile production line turns gypsum board into finished PVC laminated ceiling tiles. The PVC film on the front gives a wipe-clean finish and the aluminium foil on the back adds moisture resistance. The tiles are waterproof and fire-resistant, and the film colour and pattern can be customised. The line runs downstream of a gypsum board line, so board from the main line is laminated, cut, edge-sealed and packed on the same site.
